The last quarter of 2005 has proved to be another milestone mark for Media 1, as the corporation has just received it’s license from Underwriters Laboratories. This sought-after designation now allows Media 1 to fabricate & wire electric signs right in house! This includes all types of illuminated sign systems such as: neon & L.E.D. channel letters, backlit cabinet signs, pylon structures & exposed neon.

For their clients, this means much faster completion times, improved quality control & no subcontractors!

In conjunction with their U.L. rating, Media 1 has added more new sign making equipment! In order to stay in the competitive forefront of their field, the company has purchased the entire Arete’ channel letter fabrication system. This system automates what used to be hand-made aluminum channel letters. Relying on computer-driven technology, this equipment eliminates human error & produces logo perfect artwork, time after time!

What used to take a week to produce is now done in one day!

Media 1 has just completed yet another mall food court for Siganos Management! This time the Media 1 staff designed, fabricated & installed an entire sign system for the newly renovated food court at Tyson’s Galleria Mall in McClean, VA. This “Piazza Di Giorgio” Court is the second nationwide Food Court that Media 1 has developed along with Vaughn Contracting of Longwood, FL.

The project consisted of 33 menu systems & 17 shelving units installed around a perimeter of the individual restaurants. It also included all restaurant identification names in elegant black anodized cast metal lettering, as well as 250 lineal feet of white neon, creating a dramatic indirect lighting effect!

The entire project was created & installed inside of a 6 week period beginning in late 2005.
